What Do You Want To Be When You Give Up?

What do you want to be when you give up?

“Give up what” you ask? Funny you should ask! 🙂  Your DREAMS!

What If?...

I was doing the Facebook scroll and ran across this cartoon by cartoonist Joe Dator Cartoonist (Who’s name/credits sadly have been removed from the viral pic) and it really hit me because this is EXACTLY what we try to fight…. people giving up on their dreams!

This cartoon paints a picture so incredibly realistic its not even funny…literally as so many have just settled for “employee”, “mediocrity” just “going with the flow” (which in many cases if compared to the “flow” of a dead fish floating down stream).

What happened to this pic in it’s ORIGINAL form?  Remember when we were kids and asked “What do you want to be when you grow up?”  Remember the DREAMS we had?  The cars?  The houses? The travels etc.?  Remember the things we wanted to ACCOMPLISH in life?  Astronaut?  Movie Star? Supermodel? Famous musician? Entrepreneur extraordinaire ? What happened?

I’ll tell you what happened.  We have been conditioned to think THINKING outside the box was bad, silly, ridiculous.  Even our friends and family in many cases will tell us: “Good luck with that”, “You’ll never make it” or “Get real!”.

We have also been conditioned to think FAILURE is bad.  So lets add the two up:

As easy as it was to “type” that equation it reminded me of when “I” had given up on MY dreams.  I since have wrote my OWN equation which has produced a much different outcome.

You can write YOUR own equation, visualize YOUR future the way YOU want it, learn from people who have results you want and you will never have to answer the question in the cartoon.

What do you want out of life? Don’t let where you are define you.  Define NOW where you want to be and get there. Not sure how?  I can and WILL help you.  It’s what I do. 🙂
