2017 IS HERE!
It’s time for the New Years Resolutions right?
Years Resolutions… They often DIE by February 2nd!
January 2nd the gyms are packed but come February 2nd they are empty.
Why is that? My experiences in my past were once I fell off my resolution, whether it be subconsciously or consciously, I gave up. It was only a New Years resolution not a resolution for the whole New Year. Once I stopped that was it.
When we maker the mental shift from New Years resolution to a goal, there can be a long term commitment to continuing long after the resolution died.
When we hit the goal we have achieved we can raise our bar and set a new goal. When we have failed to hit our goal we can reset it and try again which will allow us to continue that resolution to actually get what we hoped for!
Find a victory in every defeat to remain hopeful and find a defeat in victory to remain humble…
